Our Classes
Irish Dance Classes in Florida
We currently offer Irish dance classes in Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota! Girls and boys age 4 and older are welcome, no experience or Irish heritage required! We now offer an adult class, too!
HOW IT WORKS
Students first learn ‘soft shoe’ dances which are done in ballet-style shoes. Once dancers reach the advanced beginner level they will then learn ‘hard shoe’ dances. Hard shoes, or jig shoes, have fiberglass and wood tips and heels for a loud sound. Dancers have opportunities to compete and perform throughout the year if they wish. We even host our own competition in Ft. Lauderdale every year in June.
